Google to Unveil LG Nexus 4 and Android 4.2 Next Week, Confirmed By LG

The earlier leaks was indeed true, as everyone is expecting, LG has confirmed the rumors that Google will unveil the Nexus 4 on their scheduled event happening next Monday (October 29, 2012).

So we are now 100% sure that Google will announce the next Nexus phone. According LG Mobile Product Planning head Amit Gujral:

“Google will unveil the LG Nexus on October 29 and the phone will be available in the Indian markets by the end of November,”

He also said that the new Android Nexus 4 will sport a 4.7-inch display (1280×768 resolution), quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 2100mAh battery, 8MP rear-facing camera, and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.

As you have read, the device will be available in the “Indian Market” by the end of next month. But will not surely be limited to the Indian markets and expected to be available globally.

Coming together with the new Nexus phone is the extensively rumored Android 4.2 operating system, as the company confirmed it as well. Although Android 4.2 is being called by Android fanatics as “Key Lime Pie”, Google seems to keep the Jelly Bean name for this version.

Google is also expected to announce the Nexus 10 tablet, and the Nexus 7 tablet. For now, let’s just wait and relax. Are you excited for the next week?
